Title: Planning on using a JCW or Sears trunk on a Givi mount?

I just had the opportunity to measure the mounting pin placement on a JCW mounting plate. The 2 forward pins are approx. .082" further apart than the spacing of Givi's pins. That's a lot! Some of you have succeeded in getting the trunk to fit a rack with Givi or SW-Motech pins but I don't think that's a very close fit. They will work fine if you use the supplied mounting plate.
