Title: Chariot Enclosed Bike Trailer - Good Product or not?
Post by: rlporter5 on May 11, 2011, 08:33:28 PM
All,
I plan on trailering my bike from central Florida to Ashville NC several times a year to visit family and then ride in the Ashville area.

I don't need a large trailer, and the Chariot Shuttle series for bikes seems like a good match for our C14's.  Anyone on the forum have experience with this trailer?  Any other single bike trailers that you would recommend other than the Chariot?

Thanks!

Bob

Kenda or Kendon or something like that as an alternative. Open design, they have cruiser-only models, fold up/stand up and very well made. Had one, should've kept it.

I have a Kendon and love it. It is a 2-bike setup but I have a center rail to haul just one bike if needed. Loading is really easy and storage is cool because it stands up against the garage wall. Can haul 2000lbs.

I also have a kendon. Love it! stands up and takes up no room in the garage. People are floored how little space it takes. they arent cheap thats for sure. I actually picked mine up from craigslist for 850 bucks. So I love it even more!

Thanks for the tips guys - I'll take a look at both and see what looks like it will work best.  I like the idea of being able to store it easily, and the improved visability out the rear of the vehicle.
