Now if we could just do that to the front then we would have something.
Pretty much useless on the back.

I know I've seen a few of the newer bikes with proportional braking combined with ABS - activate the rear brake and "some" of the front comes on.  Never paid attention to the "plumbing" on any of these.  This is the 1st I've heard of ANY bike set up to work the rear proportionally from the front being activated.

I had a Guzzi in the early 80's that pressurized one of the two front disk brakes when the rear brake was applied.  I'm sure that modern ABS is a great thing, but I was never comfortable with the old 'linked systems' like the Guzzi.

The pictured system has (relatively) huge added unsprung weight ... and is 'bass ackwards' ... who wants 'forced' rear brakes when you're rear is totally unloaded on a hard braking situation ... that's a no-payback deal on a modern sportbike it seems to me.

It's a stunter thing so you can work the back brake with your hand while the front wheel is off the ground  :loco:
