Thanks for the tip bro! I'll give it a shot, and pick up some black touch-up paint too. The bike is pretty dirty because its been raining here a lot lately so it's filthy. I wouldn't want to post up a picture and get lynched by the wash-aholics ;D

HEY! I swapped the washers under the bolt heads to underneath the U shaped hoop mounting plate. It gave it enough throw in order to latch perfectly. Maybe a couple pics tomorrow, it will be the last pictures before the dreaded handicap bars go on   :deadhorse: so enjoy them...

Pictures as promised. Not the cleanest bike, but that's just because it gets used a lot and I have better things to do than clean  ;)

Looks great JC, congrats bro!

One thing you might consider doing down the road is swap out the silver passenger grab rails with the black ones on the new 12 models, it blends really nice with the black smuggler IMO...  8)

Those look SOOOO good. Just wish I could afford one.  :'(

They'd be handy for day rides where you might want to take a few things along, or bring something back, without needing the side bags.

ZG doesn't have highway pegs those are actually tip over protection made by a French company called Top Block (about $700 after shipping).

Looks great, rails color matched so it improves the overall look. I bet it looks better in Silver (it's the best color anyways). A bit pricey for my budget but if I win the Lotto, I'll call Corbin, place my order and fly in to pick up a Smuggler and pizza box.
