Title: It finally got the better of me!

Yes, after nearly 14 years and 75k miles,... I finally dropped my C14 yesterday.  :'(  :facepalm:

I reversed her out of the garage and went to get off so I could centrestand her to check the tyre pressures,....  but my boot got caught on the side bag latch and I couldn't hold her. I lowered her down as gently as I could and swore copiously. Ella came out to stabilise her whilst I picked her up again.
Damage, a minor scratch on the fairing lower and in the already scratched left mirror, but otherwise nothing,... <phew!>
Didn't even throw my back out picking her up!  :thumbs:
From now on, it's sidestand first,... then centrestand. <sigh>

I already have CDA007 for dropping my C10 many many years ago, but I have now dropped both models.  :rotflmao:

I guess that mine didn't happen either....garage, no side stand, no witnesses.

Well, Ella had to help stabilise it when I picked it up, 2 neighbours came out shortly afterwards having heard my stream of multilingual obscenities and one other neighbour later asked me what had happened to make me swear like that. He was taking a shower at the time. Is that enough witnesses for ya?  :rotflmao:
