COG Nation,
I found this interesting article on CNN today about the best motorcycle roads. I think the list is incomplete. I would add the following roads to the list, Deals Gap, Arkansas 123 and Lolo Pass. Does anybody have other roads that they would add to the list?

Let's make this list more complete!

"California and the American West..." That covers about 10,000 awesome roads. It's like saying 1 of the 10 of the bests things to eat: "fruit".
But if I had to pick just a few in the American West, Bear Tooth and Chief Joseph Pass in Wyoming has got to be at the top of that list.
Colorado 550 (aka Million Dollar Highway), in fact the entire Durango-Ouray-Telluride-Durango loop has got to be on it.
Short but sweet highway 17 from Chama NM to Antonito CO.
Just to name a few.

You could spend days west of I-25 in CO alone, riding some awesome roads... be doing that since 2007! 8)

Of course highway 36 in Northern California.
But personally I would also like to add highway 224 (http://goo.gl/maps/h7R8w) from Estacada, OR to Detroit, OR.

If you can swing it during the week while everyone (cruisers) is at work, the Three Sisters in the Texas Hill Country is worth the ride. Just got to watch for the roaming cows, and cattle grates.

FIFY ;)
Nothing like trying to pass a line of 10-15 slow moving pirates on these roads on the weekends. :o

Push Mountain Road in Arkansas is pretty nice (Hwy 341). When I've ridden it there were few other people and almost no cross roads to worry about. Pretty good pavement when I was there last.
You can see part of it here: HWY 341 (Push Mountain Rd.), Arkansas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQ5dXa_oPNA#ws)

Literally any road leading out of Eureka Springs, AR.
Beartooth pass and north- Mont. I second Hwy 36, Red Bluff to the coast, any of the Three Sisters, (but not on a weekend), and Hwy 550 in CO.
Also, ID hwy 75 north of Sawtooth.

Canada- Newfoundland and Labrador for example. Nova Scotia is one of my favorites like the Cabot Trail.

Stewarts point Skaggs spring road in northern CA. Route 87 to Lake Mary Road in northern AZ. Any Vermont back road in the fall......
-
North Cascade Hwy 20 in Washington. ;D

There are so many great roads in No Ga, Tenn and N Carolina that it's hard to pick out just a few.
