I did er. Two Saturdays ago I was pumped up to see such nice Iowa weather in March, so I went for a ride. Came in a little hot on a corner, got wide, found sand, and the rear end slipped into the curb.
When the bike hit the curb, it kinda flopped to the other side, and I was thrown off. It was a classic case of 'I'm glad I wore my helmet.' My head hit the dirt hard, was a little off for a minute or two, but eventually rode the 5 miles home. I've taken that %(#(*) curve thousands of times! Oh well, I'm not hurt.
Connie, on the other hand is. Center fairing, lower right, right peg, .....
Does anybody have an opinion on the part out vs sell as a fixer-upper? The tickers at 19k, and it's only got about 500 mi on new Avons.

Well thanks everyone for the concern. And snarf, I'm in Waucoma, the bike's in New Hampton (NE). Its a solid 3 hrs to Des Moines. Also, Ive got a set of highway pegs that might need some work. I'll send you a pm with pics when I get a chance. I got them off of ebay, used. Wondering if theyre yours, and if you'd sell parts.

There's some '98 side panels on flea-bay currently. They're down a couple of pages from the start.
