Alternator Plugs under the seat
« on: July 03, 2021, 11:02:59 PM »
Hi Folks -

Needing a little help please.  There are three identical plugs under the seat that come from the alternator.  All three plugs appear identical and as are the three wires.  How does one tell which wire goes to which plug?  Does is matter?

An edit to my question above - the three identical plugs are under the fuel tank (the portion of the tank this under the front of the seat).

The manual shows that the wires are all marked BK and connect to BK.

You might look for the following to verify for yourself, but I believe the order does not matter.

3 phase motorcycle stator. Does the order matter?

I believe the stator puts out AC current so order should not matter.
