The Wee-Strom.

Seriously.  Great ride in itself for those missions where the Connie isn't suited, and at the same time makes me appreciate the Concours qualities when I switch back.

This is difficult, since most of the farkles are for my riding benefit..
Russell, bar risers, knee savers, heated grips, Rifle windscreen, jumbo grips, Throttlemeisters, driving lights, and a cc-100 to be installed.
For my riding safety- Motoport jacket, C-3 helmet, Chippawa boots, Fistgear pants, several gloves, hippo hands, and Frogg Toggs.
AMA with towing, COG handbook, insurance and a credit card... Tools, God, I forgot about the damn tools! Cell phone too.. Seamless underwear, how could I not list those... Aw hell, just let me start over..

Heated jacket liner and heated gloves with dual controller.

Being from Michigan, they really extend riding season and improve the quality of riding when cold out.

My Firstgear S-pilot II jacket.  Bought it fall of 99.  We've on our 5th bike and have done over 100k together.  Choked when I paid 700 for it.  I was an E-5 and that was a whole paycheck.  In dollars per year or dollars per mile it's done pretty well.  I've totalled 3 bikes (I was younger and stup...well, younger) and have never been to the hospital.

My best investment for riding was the purchase of a 2002 Kawasaki Concours motorcycle. Anything else only added to the equation.

Probably my Motoport Kevlar Mesh II jacket, it's 6 years old now... by far my favorite jacket ever owned.  Next would be my Held Phantom gloves... they are ~4 years old, most comfortable gloves I've ever had on.  Then my Zumo 550, had it since they came out... it's worth it's weight in gold, and pretty much cost it considering how much I paid for it new... LOL!!!

Such as?

Russell seat for two, modified rear pegs (forward and downward), CB Euro to stop the head buffeting, backrest on the Shad46.  Oh, and Sena SMH10 so she only has to tell me to slow down instead of hitting me in the head.
