Did you lead her with a trail of lit candles and rose petals to find the mop in a room with Barry White music playing?
Now that would really be romantic.

Oops
Every day is Valentines day at my house, we need nor follow any special day to show our love for each other, we treat each other the same throughout the year.
j/k... Mama get's a box of chocolate covered strawberries...
I get multiple boxes of goodies later today for valentines day, the 3rd complete set of bodywork is out for delivery today to me via UPS!
Rhino, she'll tell you the same thing if she saw you, ask anyone who's met her. Its about respect and treating each other as equals. She works, I do the laundry, I work, she cuts the grass, whoevers home and whatever needs done gets done. I don't ask for permission to buy anything, I buy what I want when I want it, conversely, she buys what she wants, no matter. She works, I ride, I work, she shops, it evens out, but who's keeping score? Not us, its not important. We don't need a made up day to profess our love on a made up "holiday" because the other 364 days of the year we are doing other things, or like some treat their spouses like s**t and one day they buy flowers and take her out, how demeaning. I don't put her on a pedistal one day a year to let her know how I feel about her, we treat each other the same every day, respect and as equals.
Sorry Strawboss, didn't mean any disrespect. Was just kidding. I know exactly what you are saying. I've been married going on 38 years.
