Here it is ,October 2015. Back in August(or perhaps it was late July) I went to my local Kawasaki dealer's open house sot-of-thing and they were offering demos, one of which was a candy lime Concours. Now I have always respected the big bike but I am a Harley guy (still am),Triumph(still am ) and in general European twins. I have had a few multis(3). I took the bike on a short guided spin and only was able to get into 4th gear briefly but I was very impressed.
I thought about buying one but I already had four other bikes. A couple of dealers I went to would not take my KTM dirt bike and/or my Moto Guzzi Griso in trade--which I fully understood. One of the dealers did say he could knock off $2500 on a cash deal. I checked out the bike again(storage ,pushing it around, center standing it ,etc. ) I also test rode one again on some faster roads--I was sold.
I bought the bike and put on 1000 miles in a month and I am very much pleased with all aspects of it. I am in the process of still selling the two bikes to make more room for the big green machine in my garage.

They are addictive. Took me a bit longer to buy after the test ride; I did a intro ride in 2008 and l loved the bike but I had just bought a new ZX14 (in 2006) and turned it into a sport touring bike so I was in no hurry to get another. Well, bikes came and went but the C14 was always in the back of my mind so I finally pulled the trigger!
I've always like the Moto Guzzi Griso. Very cool and different bike that you don't see very often. Maybe sell the Harley(s) and keep the Griso :stirpot:
