Our Chevy Volt
« on: January 11, 2012, 07:57:58 PM »

So we have developed the chevy volt-you & I. This wonder car has sold 6000 units ,with an unverifiable number bought by various gov't agencies.
The more interesting numbers are..in no order:
**I have personally seen one on the road.
**The tax credits to battery & car manu's are good ,in some, for 25 years
** Michigan is in for  690.4 million-we all know they have money to burn.
**Our Federal goverment is in for 2.3 Billion-no issues with solvency here.
**These offering from us could buy 75,222 Volts @ 40K each without us spending a dime.

Heres the kicker we have paid at a minimum $50,000 per unit if sales kick ass !!
BUT the more likely number is $250,000 per vehicle if current trends continue-
which I'll add my first Opinion in this post...is far more likely.

Sooooo....we are about to be a Nation that makes you prove you have insurance-but it's not necessary to prove that you are indeed a Citizen of that Nation?

Have look at the budget from about 18 mths ago If I remember they allocated about $600 million to BUY more Government cars that are electric .

Great advertising campain for them
"Buy an an electric Volt help save GM
               again "
