Ok, THAT is an unusual color combination :)

Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome.

Went in for the Candy Lime Green. Left with the Metallic Spark Black.
(really wanted them to offer the 2010 Candy Neptune Blue again for 2015).

Wanted to be a little different, so added copper.

I like the copper color with black.

Yeah I plug car tires. Replaced a good tire with a plug in it on the ZX14 when I bought it.  IMHO no speed runs for you til there's fresh rubber.

Why did you light it on fire? Getting dark out?

I plugged the tire on my Jetta last year and now that tire is getting loud and it feels like it's out of balance. Especially when the tire gets hot. I moved it from the front to the rear yesterday. That helps some but it's still a problem. These tires only have around 33k miles on them. Crap!

Conrad, that tire sounds like it's delaminating. Got a good jack and spare?

Yup! Worst part is the screw came from the back of my work truck.  >:(

I agree.

I seen a friend (tire tech)do this 30 years ago and have done this since. Softens the plug for easy pushing(easy boys(1st time Brian))
Just over 11000kms on these tyres.

I have both. I really hate to replace the tire but it looks like I have no choice but to replace two at a time.

Nice job on the Easy Boys!: well placed, makes perfect sense and amusing.

The last thing I found stuck in a tire was a Torx driver (yep, the driver rather than a screw) stuck in a rear tire on my wife's car. Pretty amazing really. It was one of the longer ones used on construction screws and I am quite surprised it was able to puncture the tire.

Rode the Connie today, even though I knew I was gonna get soaked. And get soaked I did.
It was still a blast passing cars trying to see past their wiper blades. But holy cow I was drenched.
Once I got home I took a hot shower, and now only remember the good stuff. 8)

My Connie rocks. ;D

Pulled the front tire off to be replaced.
It's official I'm no tire tech. The plug I put in last night has a slow leak, 12lbs over 16 hrs.
Went for a ride last night after plugging the tire watching the tire pressure frequently. Don't like riding with this issue taking up space in my skull.
Hopefully get a new tire installed tomorrow.

Brakes have 28111kms on them and they are not much thinner than the EBC pads I bought.

There that's better. No more free rent for that plugged tire.
Brake pads will have to wait until the off season. Dealership wants $84.69/puck =$338.76 plus GST. I know our dollar isn't worth a sawbuck but!! just curious what you are paying for Kawai pucks?
Paid half that for some EBC PADS!

Just an FYI ... I read on another bike forum (or maybe it was this one, can't remember) where a guy got a keyless gas cap and then started having engine trouble. Turns out that sucker was leaking in water every time he got caught in rain. I'd say test it, but not sure how.

I'll keep that in mind if I start having issues after a rain. Although a tank bag resides over it pretty much all the time when I am riding and I cover the bike at night on trips, so I am not sure rain will be an issue.
