9/25/13... Still for sale, price drop for ZGGTR- $9,200
It is on Cyctrader now...http://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2011-Kawasaki-Concours-14-ABS-111026116 (http://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2011-Kawasaki-Concours-14-ABS-111026116)
Howdy,
I have for sale a 2011 Concours 14 - $9.500 OBO. I am not looking for any trades at this time.
The bike still has a lien on it, but my credit union has the title locally. Please PM for more information or to make me an offer. Please no ridiculous low ball offers.
The bike currently has about 9,200 miles, but may go up some as I am still riding it. She is not a garage queen, but is in perfect running order. It either lives in the shed or in my driveway with a cover on it, but has seen some rain. All maintenance work done at Ultimate Cycle in Richmond VA.
The bike has a few scratches on the gas tank (jacket zipper) and lower left fairing where is idled forward off of the kick stand in my driveway, plus some on the saddle bags where foot scuffed them! I haven’t been riding it much this year so I plain forgot about getting it inspected with ran out in February of this year. If you are in VA and want it inspected I will certainly take care of that.
• Of course it has ABS, traction control, and heated grips
• Warrantied until 2/14
• Givi E49 tail trunk
• Concours saddle bag liners
• Michelin Pilot Road 3 (about 3,000 miles on them)
• Throttlemeister bar ends with the throttle lock
• V&H CS-1 black muffler (I also have still have the stock can)
• PIAA X1100 platinum lights (not currently mounted)
• Garmin Nuvi 765 with RAM Mount cradle and Nav Traffic power cable. It has lifetime maps and has just been updated to current
• Arboreal Systems Dispatch 1 power distribution and heat controller. If you have not seen this thing it is pretty sweet. It can run (4) separate pieces of heated garments with pulse width modulation temp control (I have wired 2 jacks into the left side just under the seat…please see pictures), (2) separate switchable 10A circuits, (3) USB ports for charging devices, and a single RJ11 jack for a radar detector. Check it out here. http://www.arborealsystems.com/Arboreal_Systems/got_farkles.html (http://www.arborealsystems.com/Arboreal_Systems/got_farkles.html)
• Standard FOB, credit card style FOB, and 3 key blanks. I had lost the CC style FOB so I bought a new one and had it programmed to the bike. While I was at it I bought some extra key blanks, but never got around to having them cut.
You can see all of the pictures in the album here --> http://s245.photobucket.com/user/jrthissen/library/Concourse14 (http://s245.photobucket.com/user/jrthissen/library/Concourse14)

Here are some close up pictures of the problem areas with the paint. The first pictures show the main scratch and the few smaller ones on the tank. I have no doubt that that they can buff out. However those 6 dots are chips in the paint. i have no idea how they happen, when you look closely at them it almost looks like a woodpecker was pecking at the tank LOL

Here are the scratches in the left main fairing from the tip over. It is screwed up pretty decently when you are looking at it. But, honestly unless you are focusing on it you don't notice it.

104 views and no interest? She is a sweet bike waiting for an offer! :D

Hey would you be willing to sell the PIAA lights and The GPS N Mount? I just bought a 2011 ZG14 too.. Just added the V&H CS one as well. Love it.
Let me know.Email me : endent69@gmail.com
Or call me. 314-229-9689
Thanks.... Andy
-
I would rather let the PIAA's go with the bike since I have the switch and all wired into the bike.
The RAM mount just buy new...they are dirt cheap.

Looks like a great bike. Shared a link on Facebook about it.
Good luck with sale.
-
Thanks bud! 8)
She's still looking for a new home. Why buy a new bike and eat depreciation and pay for first service etc when you can have like new with better tires and extra goodies? ;D
-
Very true. More loaded up than mine is.
-
Still for sale!
-
Do you have any close up pics of the scratch on the fairing? Also would the tank and bag scratches buff out? The tank scratch does not look deep.
-
I will try to snap some more pictures after work tomorrow. The tank scratch is long, but I don't believe it is trough the clearcoat. There are few other scratches on the tank that would be covered nicely by a tank protector which I was going to install, but could never quiet find the one I wanted for this bike. The saddlebags are more scuffs then scratches so I believe that they could be taken out by someone who knows what they are doing.
Thanks!
-
B00ST00,
I added some pictures of the scratches to the bottom of the original post. I believe that 80% of the tank scratches can be hidden with a good tank protector. The fairing with always show unless addressed.
Thanks for looking!

Still for sale...make me an offer.

Great price! Maybe I should buy a black one to park next to my silver one.

-
I think you should. Everyone knows black motorcycles add 10hp to what ever bike they are sitting next to lol! ;D

-
Bumpski,
I know VirginiaJim wants this bike, he is just playing hard to get! ;D
-
Already got one of the faster ones... Hopefully it will sell soon.
-
Everyone knows black is the fastest color!
-
Certainly doesn't apply to the selling process, unfortunately.... ;)
-
Everyone knows black is the fastest color!
That was last year... ;) ;D
-
Still for sale! I can't believe no one has even made me an offer. It may have a few scratches, but it has some extras and the price is good!

How come nobody wants this bike? The price is fair it is in great shape...what's up?
-
Very surprised it hasn't sold. I don't think there is a whole lot of money around.
I have a 2010 for sale and haven't had a bite.
-

Nice price indeed.
Is this the only place you have it listed? Keep in mind most here already have one... :-\
If it were me I'd list it on ebay and tap into the bigger buyer market of folks looking.
-
Or cycle trader...
www.cycletrader.com (http://www.cycletrader.com)
Best yet, it's a VA company!
-
You might want to change the title to reflect your new price.
-
I have it listed here and on Craigslist. I haven't had a lot of time to play around with the listings and so that is my fault. I plan on putting it in Cycle Trader.
-
Bumpski
The bike is now on CycleTrader, but I am open to offers!

wow @ this deal.
mine only has 80,000 on it yet, almost broken in so I can't get another quite yet. good luck with sale
-
Smokin' deal for the ZGGTR family...$9,200 takes it home!
I want to buy a new Jeep so I am motivated to sell it, but I am not going any lower, $9,200 is giving it away with a pint of blood to boot so if this doesn't do it then I will just keep it.
Thanks for looking!
-
Just curious since you keep dropping price, have you asked any of your local shops what they'd give you for it? Seems there is some meat on the bone for them to still make money at this price... :-\
Free bump! :chugbeer:
-
I was thinking about that last night. I am going to take it down to the shop and see what they will give me for it.
-
To the top!
-
PM sent.........
-
This might be one of the reasons you still have it. A friend just bought a new left over 12 in black for 11998 with no junk fees from Sport Cycles in Rockingham, Nc. They will sell you a red one for 11,500 no junk fees. I thought I got a good buy on my 11 2 years back from them at 13,000 no fees. But 11,500 is a hard deal to pass on a new one versus a farkled up used for only a couple of grand less.

PM replied. :)

Crossing fingers...

Some dealers are taking bikes in trade. Friend of mine just traded a Harley in on a new car in Columbus Area Ricart dealership. Saw a bunch of bikes ranging from a Honda sport bike to a full dress Harley in one area that had been traded in.... Took many of the farkles off and sold them seperately because the appraiser had not much use or knowledge. Got a pretty fair price in the end...much more than the Harley dealer was willing to give and more than any other offer. YOu may try your Jeep dealers in the area.

Crossing fingers...
She should be in my garage in the next week. Just waiting on the Ins. $. And I joked I should buy this one to park next to my silver one back in July....oh life's cruel twists!
-
Excellent! Glad you're in good shape to buy another one!
