Ok.  I was looking thru some of the other OTP threads and it looked like the schedule was bumped up a day because I didn't think you guys were leaving Colorado until early this morning and Chris was concerned about the riding time with all the "detours" or "alternate routes" that were being thrown out there.

I'll try and be there by 6 (Chris' place?) or are we meeting somewhere else?

Thanks.  Hope it is warm enough out for everybody.   Ha Ha  (103 according to NWS site a minute ago and that can be an hour or two behind, I didn't check the time it was read)  It may get warmer than that when the final report comes out.

Steve Cook and I were Bernd's guides in the Rockies on Saturday.  We took him over Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, ate a leisurely lunch in Grand Lake, and then back over Trail Ridge and back to Rick's for the evening BBQ. 

Bernd is nowhere near as language-impaired as I was when I was in German as the OTP Tag-a-long in '08.  He is very fluent and very enjoyable to ride with and visit with.  He and Gie will be great ambassadors from GCE.

I'll be going to Lincoln with Steve Cook on the 15th of August to meet them both there and then Steve and I will ride back to Lyons and spend a day riding in the Rockies with Rick and Gie on the 17th before Gie flies home on the 18th.

I just read about Chris's new C-14.  I guess everybody's who's anybody is getting a C-14.  Well, except Rick...and he can probably outrun anybody on a C-14 on his 160K+ C-10.

Is Chris gonna' keep the C-10 as a permanent OTP loaner?
