The orange latch on my side bag was broken in a collision with an animal.  Is this piece available separately from the latch assembly? I can't tell from the parts diagrams. Thanks.

I am fairly certain that the complete latch will be your only new option.
A used latch will be cheaper assuming you can swap over the barrel.
