I just ordered PR2s for MY x-country trip. Thinking it will be around 12K miles. Hoping to get it all in on one set. Wasn't sure of HOW the pr3s would wear. Chickened out!
Not to hijack this or anything, but for you guys that do your own tire changes, is dealing with the TPS difficult? I stopped in my local Cyclegear shop, and he told me that he couldn't do my change because I have the TPS, and he couldn't change it without damaging it.
I just thought that strange. I am going to buy the no-mar set up when I get back from vacation, but am worried that it might be more difficult that I thought.
