Title: Happy 4th Anniversary!
Post by: lt1 on July 07, 2011, 01:33:53 PM
IIRC, the first C14's on our forum were purchased on 07/07/07, so I wanted to wish them Happy Birthday! and start and anniversary thread.  Mine still has a few weeks to go.

Does anyone remember who the first C14 owners were?

There were some people (or someone at least) who bought a C-14 in late June if memory serves....?

My anniversary is in a few weeks too- 25 July to be exact. My bike just turned 70K and I don't have any complaints yet.

By the way, Jerry and I were pretty close in mileage coming into the spring- how are we doing now Jerry?  ;D

I got my first C14 in Oct '07 but didn't get to drive it until DEC! I was deployed overseas and counted the days I had left to ride her.  ::)

My C14 is four years old today!  07/07/07 was my purchase date.

MOB I thought yours was slightly after me...around 7/13, But not on the same day... the first bikes were in late June...   Jonathon in Maine or new foundland, a few next on the west coast.. Nightrider in New Jersey...that handful in late June..

Brian, your commendable CC50 has pushed you ahead of me... I'm just a little over 62,000 but have a few big trips planned and rode over 1,500 miles the last two weekends without leaving PA.. :)

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY MY BROTHERS!

I put the 'SOLD' sign on it 7-5-07, and picked it up 7/10/07, I think...I know I paid the payment Lunch hour on a Friday Thursday, and had to run to Ohio over the weekend to pick up my check Monday returning with $$,$$$.$$, and took the bike home on Tuesday.
Guy took this picture tuesday night, I posted it 7/11/07:

Actually, Chriss (Nightrider) I think was the first. He was no latter than late June. He had his quite a bit before I got mine. I picked up mine on July 13th. I had a pretty good list on the now defunct forum!

Bob..

I think Jonathon and then scooter scum were just before Chriss, but you are right..  He had his in Jersey Before anyone else on the east coast of the US.. I had the first one in PA...that i know of.

Two Jacks in Wilkes Barre was the first PA dealer to take shipment from the eastern warehouse in jersey. I bought their first one put together.. Non abs arrived before the abs model on the early shipments.

For me... 07/07/07 has been a lucky bike for me...  No complaints here either, I love riding it just as much or more than day one...   Even with PR2's on it  ::)

My baby will be 4 in August - just under 72,000kms and I've no intention of parting company with her yet.  Gonna shout her some Michelins for her birthday...
