Stressful day at work. Came home for a ride.  Too wound up to ride the C14, Would have probably been stopped for speeding, so rode the cruiser w/o a windshield.  Now that will slow ya down and allow some relaxation on back roads.  The 14 this weekend, IF the predicted rain doesn't happen.  A great weekend to all here.  tomp  dd50

you know, I absolutely get that. I ride to fast, and always way to fast on the 14. I recently bought a versys 650 lt. More fun than a barrel of monkeys! I ride it to fast too, but the versions of "too fast" are not that comparable. At least the version of too fast with the 650 is still within license retaining speed. Steve

I get it too. The 14 just gets me wound up to go fast and once you do speed limits for the rest of the ride it seems like crawling. My other bike is an old Z1 and it doesnt get ridden as fast but the rear tire gets a good workout. I need a cruiser or an off road bike to chill out on :D

New Carbon Fibre Two Brothers Can
New RHS mirror
New Windshiled mechanism
RHS panels repaired and spray painted


New OEM sized windshield should be arriving today.

My Connie is good as new...... ;D

Wow...that's a massive difference. Guess the mechanism just isn't designed to cope with the load that barn door exerted on it. Glad it's all sorted my brother, now as added insurance...Ziggy needs to do the usual again? Much love and respect!!

FYI.... Ziggy is our local CMA Pastor, and Regional Prez for the CMA as well. Bike got blessed at a day jol (Local slang for 1-day rally/party/get together) last Saturday.

Installed the Delhi vic 18 CF. Bike is 13 lbs lighter now. Baffle looks restrictive. Will have to get warmer weather to try it out.

Cleaned up the rear brakes and changed oil/filter and rear drive oil.  Ordered an EBC rotor for the rear along with a  set of pads.

Well...on Friday put on Ronnie's Highway Pegs (Love Them)....and on Saturday added helmet locks(haven't used them yet)....and today mailed my ECU to Steve!!!!!

Put on a Give V56 yesterday and fixed the broken lock it showed up with. :)

I also ordered a set of Phil's rails today (so I can open my top case the whole way with the AST backrest on) and USB outlets for the front and rear of the bike so mama and I can charge our phones on the road.
