08 - hooking battery back up
« on: March 29, 2013, 07:38:24 AM »
I had my battery out of bike for winter and hooked to a tender. I put it back in, but the rubber strap seems to stay loose. Wondering if someone can post a pic on how the rubber strap go over the battery.

Did you misplace the plastic plate/doohickey that goes on top of the battery?   ???

That piece takes up slack in the rubber band.
The band hooks on the left side of the battery tray and stretches directly to the right side to another hook.
Don't remember any other way to foul up your work....

Maybe the battery shrank from the cold. Just think about the last time you got out of a swimming pool.   :o    :D
