Anyone here from Madison/Huntsville Alabama?
« on: July 15, 2011, 11:09:15 AM »
My cousin is originally from NJ but now lives in Madison AL. He loves Derek Jeter, I don't, I'm from Cleveland OH and I tell him he's a bum. For the past few years we've been sending funny things back and forth in the mail, pictures, notes, bobbleheads. I'd send something to a friend in CA or even Australia, and then that friend would send it back to my cousin anonomously. He's got a sort of Jeter "shrine" of all the things sent to him from me. Well, he went over the line and sent me flowers and a "love note" to work at the fire station with a note from "Jeter" mentioning his 3000th hit, this will not go unanswered. I'm buying a Cleveland Indians "Chief Wahoo" mascot sign or magnetic sign and I need it placed in his front yard or to his car and a pic taken. I don't know any of his neighbors so I'm appealing to the good folks of COG to step up and avenge this serious breech of man ettiquette. He lives in Madison, about 3 miles north of I-565, easy in, easy out, easy access, all stop signs, quick exit, 2 ways, neighbors never around, street lighting dim. Anybody able? If not, I'd entertain other ideas, pic would be hard at night. But, I'd like something in his yard.

Yeah, but think of the respect and admiration you'd get from us here, well, a few of us. Think of the nice ride, the clandestine work, the excitement of the stalk, achieving what no others have done.

I'm in touch with the local fire dept. down there and am planning something good for my mis-informed cousin.
