Title: thread pitch on bottom engine mount bolt
Post by: jworth on June 23, 2017, 10:15:46 AM
It seems I've lost the nut off of the bottom engine mount bolt, the one near the foot pegs.  Fortunately that long bolt is sort of held captive by the exhaust, etc.  so I haven't lost that.  I have a 10mm metric nut, but apparently it's the wrong thread pitch.  I'm going to have to go buy a nut.  Since I can't remove that bolt without significant disassembly, does anyone know off hand what the thread pitch is?

The nut part # is 92210
NUT,LOCK,FLANGED,10MM
92210-1080

on the microfiche.  That doesn't tell me the thread pitch.  Google searches for that have not found it.

If all else failed I could go through the dealer and wait a few days, but I'd rather just get it at my local Ace that has a pretty good selection of these things.  Any help would be appreciated.

It's 1.25 in case anyone is wondering.   I just bought a few and tried them.   I knew  1.5 was too coarse.   Just had to get  1.25 and  1.0.  Happy trails.
